Rauora is the new Rainbow Six Siege operator

Ubisoft's Six Invitational concluded with the unveiling of Rauora, the latest addition to Rainbow Six Siege's roster of attack operators. Hailing from New Zealand, Rauora's unique ability centers around the DOM launcher, a deployable, bulletproof shield designed for doorway deployment. While indestructible by gunfire, explosives can breach it. A clever twist is the trigger mechanism; friendly fire opens the shield instantly (one second), while enemy fire requires a three-second delay – a potentially game-changing difference, especially during defuser situations.

Adding to her arsenal, Rauora introduces the Reaper MK2, a fully automatic pistol equipped with a red dot sight and high-capacity magazine. Players can also choose between the M249 LMG and the 417 marksman rifle as primary weapons.

Rauora will be playable on the test servers within the coming week, with a full release on the live servers to follow shortly after.
