Cards Golf

This app features three two-player card games: Four Cards Golf, Six Cards Golf, and Scat, selectable via the in-app settings.

Four Cards Golf Rules:

This golf-inspired game aims for the lowest score across nine rounds. Each round starts with four face-down cards per player, with remaining cards forming a draw pile and a single face-up discard pile. Players initially get one peek at their two closest cards, which must remain hidden from their opponent. Subsequent views are only permitted during discarding or final scoring.

On a turn, players draw from either the draw or discard pile. Draw pile cards can replace any card in their layout (without seeing the replaced card), moving the replaced card face-up to the discard pile. Discard pile cards must be used to replace a card, then discarded. Players can also "knock," ending their turn and the round.

Scoring:

• Matching pairs in a row or column: 0 points
• Jokers: -2 points
• Kings: 0 points
• Queens & Jacks: 10 points
• Other cards: face value
• Four of a kind: -6 points

Six Cards Golf Rules:

Another two-player golf-style game, also played over nine rounds. Each round begins with six face-down cards per player, a draw pile, and a face-up discard pile. Players initially reveal two cards. The goal is to reduce card values by pairing or swapping for lower-value cards.

Turns involve drawing from either pile. Drawn cards can replace a player's card (leaving the replaced card face-up) or be discarded. The round concludes when all cards are face-up.

Scoring:

• Matching pairs in a column: 0 points
• Jokers: -2 points
• Kings: 0 points
• Queens & Jacks: 20 points
• Other cards: face value

The app allows for play against an AI or another player on the same device.
