Cette application mobile, Sound Analyzer Basic, propose une analyse en temps réel des signaux audio, affichant simultanément les spectres de fréquence (Hz) et d'amplitude (dB). Il fournit également une vue dynamique en cascade montrant les changements spectraux au fil du temps et une visualisation claire de la forme d'onde. L'application offre une grande précision, avec une erreur de mesure de fréquence généralement inférieure à 0,1 Hz dans des environnements calmes.
Les principales fonctionnalités incluent : l'affichage de la fréquence de pointe, la plage d'affichage réglable au toucher, les échelles d'axe de fréquence sélectionnables (linéaires et logarithmiques), les vues en cascade et en forme d'onde et une capacité de capture d'écran. Tout en prenant en charge une plage de hautes fréquences allant jusqu'à 96 kHz, les utilisateurs doivent noter que les fréquences supérieures à 22,05 kHz peuvent être filtrées sur de nombreux appareils, introduisant potentiellement un bruit mineur. Certains appareils peuvent également présenter une augmentation du bruit à des fréquences spécifiques telles que 48 kHz et 96 kHz en raison du traitement du filtre.
