Before Starting Your Sensor

Before initiating your Sensor, decide which device you will use for monitoring. Note that alarms and glucose readings are exclusive to either your smartphone or your FreeStyle Libre 2 Reader; they cannot be used simultaneously on both devices. To receive these features on your phone, start the Sensor using the FreeStyle Libre 2 app. Conversely, use your Reader to start the Sensor if you prefer receiving data on that device.

It's important to understand that the FreeStyle Libre 2 app and Reader do not share data. To ensure comprehensive data collection on a specific device, scan your Sensor every 8 hours with that device. For a complete overview of your data across all devices, you can upload and view it on LibreView.com.
