The world has plunged into darkness. In the wilds of Midgard, the dead roam freely in broad daylight. The rivers burn your throat, Valkyries no longer guide the fallen to Valhalla, and sinister forces lurk in the shadows of forests and gorges. The goddess Hel is behind this chaos, having cursed the lands with her black magic in just 15 days. Now, she aims to enslave the kingdom of the living!

Death no longer exists in this realm. As the immortal, valiant Jarl of the northern warriors, you no longer face the specter of death. Healers and shamans are baffled by this phenomenon. With the path to Valhalla closed, your only option is to arm yourself and banish the creatures of darkness back to Helheim!

In Frostborn, no man is an island. This co-op survival game with MMORPG elements encourages you to team up with other Vikings to build a formidable base. Together, confront the creatures that hide in the shadows and within the shrines of the gods. Engage in thrilling raids and random encounters in various locations and dungeons, and even battle other players.

Choose your path with over a dozen RPG-style classes. Prefer heavy armor and direct combat? Opt for Protector, Berserk, or Thrasher. If you favor long-range attacks, consider Pathfinder, Sharpshooter, or Hunter. For those who thrive in stealth and surprise, Bandit, Robber, or Assassin might be your calling. The choice is yours!

Survive at all costs. Trade with other players or ambush them in the wilds of Midgard. Forge alliances with other families to protect each other during raids, or betray their trust for resources. The old order is gone; these are now wild lands where only the strongest survive.

Plow your way to Valhalla using the robust crafting system. Craft everything you need to combat the darkness spawned by Hel's black magic. From strong walls and delicious food to magic potions, deadly traps, powerful weapons, and legendary armor, you'll be well-equipped. And if that's not enough, build your own drakkar to raid overseas kingdoms!

Build your own city with strong walls, spacious houses, and artisan shops. Rebuild and improve your city to welcome visitors, but remember, a great city cannot be built in just 15 days. Cooperate with other Vikings and your city's inhabitants to secure a place in the sun in a world dominated by black magic.
