Everything is just a tap or two away, helping you get to your favorite activities quickly. The Feed tab consolidates important home events in one place, offering insights on how to maximize your devices and enhance your home setup.

You can create Routines to streamline your daily tasks, turning on lights, checking the weather, or playing the news with a single command. Additionally, the app allows you to see all active audio and video streams on your devices, adjust volumes, skip tracks, or switch speakers effortlessly.

Understand what’s going on at home with a glance

The Google Home app keeps you informed about your home's status and updates you on any events you might have missed. You can check in on your home at any time and receive a recap of recent activities. If something significant happens while you're away, you'll get a notification.

Setting up your Nest Wifi and Google Wifi is quick and easy with the Google Home app. You can run speed tests, establish a guest network, and share your Wi-Fi password with ease. Use parental controls like Wi-Fi pause to manage your children's online time. The app can automatically prioritize video conferencing and gaming traffic across all devices, or you can choose which devices to prioritize for different types of traffic. You'll also receive notifications when new devices join your network and get detailed insights for troubleshooting internet issues.
