When you head out for any activity, whether it's a local hike, an afternoon of skiing, or a global journey, simply check-in with Hibou. Use the app's activity button to set a timer for up to 24 hours, and go about your adventure with peace of mind. Upon your safe return, end the timer. If you need more time, extending the timer is as easy as pressing a button.

In situations where you're unable to call for help, Hibou has your back. Should your timer expire without your return, your pre-determined contacts will receive a notification with your last known location, ensuring help is on the way.

Hibou also offers a daily automated wellness check service, providing your family with reassurance about your well-being. At scheduled times, report your status through the app, website, or phone system. If you miss a check-in, Hibou will remind you via notifications, emails, or calls. After a grace period and additional reminders, your circle will be notified if you still haven't reported.

For immediate assistance, the help button on Hibou sends your GPS location to your contacts instantly. While calling 9-1-1 is crucial in emergencies, sometimes alerting your loved ones is the more suitable action.
