Story

In the multifaceted universe of DC, parallel dimensions exist simultaneously, known as alternative universes. Each dimension unfolds events differently, leading to a myriad of outcomes.

The game unfolds in a fictional alternative universe where Superman, manipulated into killing his pregnant wife Lois and millions of civilians in a nuclear mishap, descends into tyranny. After brutally dealing with the mastermind, The Joker, Superman imposes his dictatorial rule over the planet.

With his mind corrupted, Superman now perceives himself as the supreme deity safeguarding the planet's peace and order. He's willing to eliminate anyone he deems guilty.

This cannot continue, or the planet faces total destruction. A group of superheroes forms the Insurgency to oppose this dictatorship, led by Batman. Despite their formidable powers, they cannot overcome Superman's One Earth Regime alone and need assistance.
