A new trailer for Freedom Wars Remastered showcases the game's revamped gameplay and control systems, offering a fresh look at this dystopian action RPG. The core loop remains familiar: battle colossal mechanical creatures known as Abductors, harvest their components, upgrade your gear, and complete challenging missions. This remastered edition, however, boasts significant improvements.

Launching January 10th for PS4, PS5, Switch, and PC, Freedom Wars Remastered features enhanced visuals, improved game balance, a challenging new difficulty setting, and numerous updated features. The game's origins lie in a response to Sony's loss of Monster Hunter exclusivity. Capcom's decision to shift its focus to Nintendo platforms prompted Sony to develop Freedom Wars for the PS Vita, creating a similar, yet distinct, monster-hunting experience.

The trailer introduces the protagonist, a Sinner condemned for the crime of being born, navigating a world depleted of resources. The Sinner's sentence involves completing missions for their Panopticon, a city-state, ranging from rescuing citizens to destroying Abductors and securing control systems.
