Alienware Aurora R16 RTX 5080 Gaming PC Now Available from $2,399
Dell is now offering a fantastic deal on the Alienware Aurora R16 gaming PC, equipped with the powerful new GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, for just $2,399.99 shipped. This price point is one of the best you can find for an RTX 5080-equipped prebuilt system, especially considering that most other brands have been steadily increasing their prices since the RTX 50 series launch in January. At Dell, the only other prebuilt option with an RTX 5080 GPU is priced over $4,000. Attempting to find a standalone RTX 5080 GPU for a DIY build could cost as much as this entire system, making this deal incredibly attractive.
Update: Like other manufacturers, Dell has been affected by recent tariffs. Given the ongoing stock issues with Blackwell cards, prices for Alienware gaming desktops with RTX 50 series GPUs are expected to rise in the near future.

Alienware Aurora R16 Intel Core Ultra 7 265F RTX 5080 Gaming PC
$2,399.99 at Alienware
This Alienware Aurora R16 gaming PC comes packed with an Intel Core Ultra 7 265F CPU, a GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, 16GB of DDR5-5200MHz RAM, and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The Intel Core Ultra 7 265F Meteor Lake CPU features a max turbo frequency of 5.3GHz, 20 cores, and a 30MB cache, ensuring top-tier performance. It's cooled by a robust 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler, and the system is powered by a 1,000W 80PLUS Platinum power supply, offering both efficiency and reliability.
The RTX 5080 is part of the new Blackwell series, which has been difficult to find due to high demand. In our Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 FE review, Jackie notes, "If you already have a high-end graphics card from the last couple of years, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 might not be the upgrade you need—it doesn't significantly outperform the RTX 4080. However, the added frames from DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation can enhance supported games. For gamers with older GPUs looking for a substantial performance boost, the RTX 5080 is a solid choice, especially if you're keen on Nvidia's AI enhancements."
RTX 5080 and 5090 GPUs Are Sold Out Everywhere
The initial preorders for the Nvidia GeForce RTX 50-series graphics cards sold out within the first hour of availability. The RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 were the first to be released, followed by the RTX 5070 Ti in February. Similarly, prebuilt gaming PCs equipped with these new GPUs have either sold out, increased in price, or are facing extended delivery delays.
