Apex Legends ALGS Year 4 Championships Heads to Sapporo, Japan!
Get ready Apex Legends fans! The ALGS Year 4 Championships are coming to Asia for the first time ever, landing in Sapporo, Japan. This landmark event will see 40 top teams competing for the coveted championship title from January 29th to February 2nd, 2025, at the Daiwa House PREMIST DOME.
This marks a significant moment for the ALGS, expanding its global reach to a region with a passionate and dedicated Apex Legends community. EA's announcement highlighted the strong Japanese fanbase and the numerous requests for an offline event in the country. John Nelson, EA's senior director of Esports, expressed excitement about celebrating this milestone in the iconic Daiwa House Premist Dome.
While specific tournament details and ticketing information will be revealed later, Sapporo Mayor Katsuhiro Akimoto extended a warm welcome to all athletes, officials, and fans, promising the city's full support.
