Ariana Grande Joins Meet the Parents 4 Starrer Stiller, De Niro

Ariana Grande expands her acting repertoire with a lead role in Meet the Parents 4 alongside comedy veteran Ben Stiller and Oscar-winner Robert De Niro.

According to THR's exclusive report, the pop superstar-turned-Wicked actress will join the franchise's newest comedy installment. Universal Pictures has slated the Focker-Byrnes family reunion for November 25, 2026.

Stiller and De Niro return for their fourth cinematic showdown as famously mismatched in-laws. While Blythe Danner and Teri Polo are reportedly in talks to reprise their roles from previous films, THR reveals Grande will portray Polo and Stiller's on-screen son's unconventional fiancée - described as "all wrong" for him.

Franchise writer-director John Hamburg returns to helm the fourth installment, with original director Jay Roach serving as producer alongside De Niro's Tribeca Productions. Stiller's Red Hour Films and Hamburg's Particular Pictures also join the production team, with Universal executives Matt Reilly and Jacqueline Garell overseeing development.

While best known for chart-topping albums like 2024's Eternal Sunshine, Grande has successfully transitioned to acting - earning critical acclaim and an Oscar nomination for her role as Glinda in last year's Wicked adaptation. She'll reprise the role in Wicked: For Good, scheduled for November 21, 2025.
