In *Avowed*, Obsidian's latest RPG, the main quest may feel expansive due to the rich world of the Living Lands, but it's actually relatively short. If you're eager to dive deeper into the game after the credits roll, here's what you can expect post-game.

Does Avowed Have New Game Plus?

For those who love to dive back into games, especially RPGs, replaying the main quest with all your earned skills and gear on a higher difficulty is a thrilling prospect. Unfortunately, *Avowed* does not offer a New Game Plus mode at launch. However, there's hope on the horizon. Many players have voiced their desire for this feature, and Obsidian might respond by adding it in a future update or DLC. In the meantime, *Avowed* still encourages multiple playthroughs due to the significant impact of player choices on the story and gameplay. Exploring different endings and character builds can make starting a new save highly rewarding.

Does Avowed Have Endgame Content?

*Avowed* is divided into four main regions, plus a secret finale area and a return to one of the game's major cities (which we won't spoil here). These final areas provide a fun challenge, requiring Legendary Quality Weapons and Gear to survive. However, this challenge doesn't extend to earlier regions, and you won't unlock new areas post-game. It's disappointing that you can't see how your choices have reshaped the Living Lands after the credits roll.

What You Can Do After You Beat Avowed

Without a New Game Plus or any traditional endgame content, *Avowed*'s post-game offerings are somewhat limited. Once you complete the final encounter, you'll be treated to several minutes of animatic cutscenes that show the consequences of your choices on the world and characters of the Living Lands. After this, you'll be returned to the Main Menu.

From the Main Menu, you have two main options: start a new journey with a fresh Envoy, or reload a previous save. Autosaves are available just before the point of no return and before the final encounter, allowing you to replay these sections and experiment with different decisions to see varied story outcomes.

Reloading to a save before the point of no return also lets you revisit any previous regions. You can complete the map, earn achievements, finish side quests, and collect any items you missed. Since enemies in earlier regions don't scale to your level, returning to areas like Dawnshore with your powerful gear can be a fun and satisfying experience.

And that's what you can do after beating *Avowed*.
