Bam Margera to Appear in THPS 3+4 After Tony Hawk's Insistence

by Aiden May 28,2025

Bam Margera did not initially appear on the roster for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4, which is set to release as a combined version later in 2025. However, recent reports suggest that Margera will indeed join the final game. This exciting update was shared by skateboarding journalist Roger Bagley during a members-only episode of The Nine Club skateboarding podcast, as noted by Video Games Chronicle.

According to Bagley, the game was already completed when Tony Hawk reached out to Activision, requesting Margera’s inclusion. Although it was initially deemed impossible, Hawk persisted until Margera was added. IGN has reached out to Activision for further confirmation.

Bam Margera, known for his career in professional skateboarding and as a prominent figure in the Jackass franchise, has faced numerous challenges, including struggles with substance abuse and legal issues. He was dismissed from Jackass Forever following threats made against director Jeff Tremaine and his family, resulting in a restraining order. Despite these setbacks, Margera and Hawk recently appeared in a skateboarding video together, sparking rumors of his potential return to the game.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 is scheduled for release on July 11, 2025, across platforms such as PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Developed by Iron Galaxy, this project overcame significant obstacles, including being shelved after Activision merged Vicarious Visions with Blizzard.
