Battlecruisers Marks 4th Anniversary with Trans Edition Update

Battlecruisers is marking its fourth anniversary with a bang, thanks to the developers at Mecha Weka who are rolling out their most substantial update yet—the 'Trans Edition.' This update enriches the game with a plethora of new content for both single-player and multiplayer modes.

What’s in Store in Battlecruisers 6.4 Trans Edition?

Prepare for battle with three new cruisers: Goatherd, Pistol, and Megalith. Enhance your strategies with two new buildings, Cannon and Sledgehammer, and deploy two new units, SpyPlane and MissileFighter. Existing cruisers aren't left behind; they now boast new customization options with three fresh bodykits: Longbow Fringe, Rickshaw Scathis, and Yeti Corpse Piler.

Skirmishes now let you choose from Man o’ War, Huntress Prime, and Fortress Prime, while PvP matches have been updated to start with a countdown, and aircraft trails now match player colors for a more personalized experience.

Balancing changes are also a major part of this update. Ships like the Raptor have seen their shield build and recharge rate boosted from 3x to 5x, and the Hammerhead's health has increased from 4000 to 4200. The ShipTurret's damage has been enhanced from 40 to 60, though its range has been reduced from 19 to 16.

Visually, Battlecruisers now offers underwater transparency, allowing you to admire the wreckage of your defeated foes. The sea has been given a new shading effect, and cruiser and ship destruction sequences are now more spectacular than ever.

Played the Game Yet?

Since its launch in 2021, Battlecruisers has consistently delivered major updates annually. The Trans Edition not only expands the adventure with additional side quests but also introduces a mysterious Battlefortress hidden in the South Pacific.

Set in the year 2732 on a Flooded Earth, the game's universe is populated solely by robots engaged in constructing and waging war. As a player, you command your own Battlecruiser, equipping it with turrets, nuke launchers, and ultraweapons while facing off against a formidable array of enemies.
