Breaking: Spotify Outage Reported Worldwide
Attention all music lovers: Spotify, the popular music streaming service, experienced an outage this morning, leaving many users unable to enjoy their favorite tunes. According to Downdetector, reports of the Spotify outage began surfacing around 6 a.m. PT and continued to flood in throughout the morning. Our team at IGN also encountered difficulties accessing the service, and even when we managed to open the app, it refused to play music.
Spotify has officially acknowledged the issue and is actively working to resolve it as quickly as possible. The company has also debunked rumors circulating about the outage being caused by a security hack, clarifying that these reports are false.
