Gamescom Latam 2024 Crowns "What the Car?" Best Mobile Game

Gamescom Latam, the inaugural gaming event held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, successfully showcased Latin America's burgeoning gaming scene and celebrated global industry achievements. A key highlight was the game awards, presented in partnership with the BIG Festival.

The awards ceremony featured 13 categories, with finalists selected by a panel of 49 judges. All nominees were playable on the show floor, a refreshing inclusion of mobile titles alongside PC games, highlighting the growing importance of mobile gaming.

The coveted "Best Mobile Game" award went to Triband ApS's "What the Car?". This win is well-deserved, as the game's unique qualities have already been highlighted in previous articles. Its increasing popularity might even necessitate updates to those earlier "hidden gem" lists!
