Sony Pictures has set the stage for a thrilling cinematic experience with the announcement of Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, slated to hit US theaters on October 29, 2025. This exciting news was shared during Sony's CinemaCon presentation, where they revealed the acquisition of worldwide theatrical rights, excluding Japan, to bring Tatsuki Fujimoto's acclaimed work to audiences this fall. US viewers can mark their calendars for late October, while over 80 other countries will get to enjoy the film starting September 24, 2025. Toho will manage the film's release in Japan on September 19, 2025.

The announcement of the Chainsaw Man movie came in December 2023, serving as a direct sequel to the MAPPA-produced anime that debuted in 2022. The story follows Denji, a young protagonist who gains a new lease on life through a pact with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. This unique alliance allows Denji to transform parts of his body into chainsaws, propelling him on a journey to become more than just the Chainsaw Man.

Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will introduce fans to the character Reze, a significant figure from the original manga. Directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and penned by Hiroshi Seko, the film reunites the entire voice cast from the anime series to reprise their roles, ensuring a seamless continuation of the story.
