Dev Tyler Unveils 'First Proper Update' v0.3.4 for Testing

by Natalie Jul 08,2025

The indie sensation *Schedule I*, also known as *Drug Dealer Simulator*, continues to dominate Steam’s most-played games chart since its viral launch. The game has now received its first major post-launch update, version 0.3.4, which is currently available for testing on the beta branch.

Developer Tyler, the one-man team behind the game under the banner TVGS, announced the beta via the game’s Steam page. He noted that the patch will remain in beta for a short period before going live, though players can opt-in early to access the latest changes.

"This beta doesn’t quite contain 100% of the features coming in the full release," Tyler explained. "I'll be adding a few more decorative objects tomorrow [April 8]. I wanted to get this beta out ASAP so that the new wall-mounted objects and pawn shop interface can be thoroughly trialed."

Schedule I launched as the top-selling game on Steam, drawing more concurrent players than high-profile titles like *Monster Hunter Wilds*, *GTA 5*, and *Marvel Rivals*. The game follows your rise from small-time drug dealer to crime kingpin, managing production, distribution, and empire-building across the gritty city of Hyland Point.

Tyler described the game’s explosive popularity as “amazing but pretty overwhelming” and shared on Reddit that he never expected such a strong response. “At the moment I’m just trying to stay focused and get patches out ASAP,” he said. “Also looking forward to getting started on content updates as soon as all major bugs are patched.”
