Dimensional Link Update and MrBeast Collab Live in Monster Hunter

Get ready for a summer adventure in Monster Hunter Now with a special collaboration between Niantic and the popular YouTuber MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson)! Starting July 27th, an exclusive MrBeast-themed quest awaits, offering unique rewards and a special weapon.

The MrBeast Hunt Begins!

MrBeast himself is excited about this partnership and the resulting in-game experience. Niantic has released a dynamic live-action trailer, urging players to "Hunt Anywhere," which is definitely worth checking out.

The Monster Hunter Now x MrBeast event runs from July 27th to September 2nd, providing ample time to collect exclusive items: MrBeast Layered Equipment, face paint, a Guild Card Background, and a Hunter Medal. You'll also earn Season Tier Points, Zenny, and Rare Monster materials. The highlight for MrBeast fans? The MrBeast Sword & Shield! Collect MrBeast Briefcases throughout the event to upgrade this weapon to Grade 6, then use standard materials to further enhance it.

A Major Update Arrives!

Alongside the MrBeast collaboration, Niantic is releasing a major update introducing the Dimensional Link. This feature simplifies global team-ups, allowing hunters worldwide to join forces.

Special monsters, marked by an upside-down green triangle on your map, will trigger Dimensional Link events. Tapping one will place you in a lobby to battle alongside international players. This is especially beneficial for players in less populated areas, enabling cooperative hunts without the Paintball mechanic (though this is a minor omission for those who couldn't previously participate in co-op).
