The Game's Narrative

An ancient demon unleashes chaos upon the world, prompting the forest spirits to awaken a long-forgotten archer. Armed with a bow and arrow, this hero embarks on a perilous quest to vanquish the demonic threat. But this adventure is far from straightforward.

Gameplay Mechanics

Constant motion is the name of the game. A Kindling Forest features relentless screen scrolling, presenting a barrage of sharp, irregularly shaped obstacles. Players must skillfully dodge or strategically shoot these hazards using their arrows.

Arrows are the key to survival, acting as a lifeline provided by the forest spirits themselves. Running out of arrows means game over, demanding precise and efficient arrow usage.

The game unfolds across five increasingly challenging levels. Expect to leap over spiders, teleport through ancient ruins, soar across clouds, and navigate treacherous lava flows.

Strategically placed checkpoints offer a much-needed safety net, allowing players to restart and refine their approach after a mishap.

Unique Dual-Screen Control

A Kindling Forest employs a unique dual-screen control system. One half of the screen handles jumping, while the other controls aiming and shooting. Precise timing is crucial for success. A helpful slow-motion effect during aiming provides the necessary window for accurate shots.
