Torchlight: Infinite’s eighth season, Sandlord, has officially launched, marking the game's most expansive season to date. This season introduces a host of new features that transform the traditional gameplay into an experience where you can build a floating empire in the sky.

What’s in Store in Torchlight: Infinite’s Eighth Season Sandlord?

The centerpiece of this season is the Cloud Oasis, a city that you'll manage. By gathering resources in the Netherrealm, you can assign workers to five different professions to maximize your gains. This new mechanic unlocks trade routes, bonuses, and exclusive seasonal rewards, seamlessly blending ARPG combat with strategy simulation elements.

Thea, previously known as a divine channeler, has undergone a dark transformation and is now called the Blasphemer. Instead of bestowing blessings, she now spreads desecration, causing Erosion Damage that intensifies over time.

The Deep Space region has been revamped, introducing five new stages brimming with monsters and survival challenges. A new item, Probes, has been added, functioning similarly to Compasses but occupying a unique slot. They enhance both the rewards and the difficulty level of your gameplay.

The endgame content is enriched with new Legendary Stages, which are rare but offer unique loot setups that can alter your gameplay strategy. Certain zones break from tradition; for instance, the Abyssal Vault contains no enemies but is filled with Mystery Chests ripe for the looting.

Conversely, the Sea of Rites introduces a swarm of goblins that don't attack. Defeating them could summon a hidden boss. The Supreme Showdown stage features the Golden Gaze mechanic, allowing both you and the bosses to transform enemies into treasure with the right strike.
