Techland made waves at Summer Game Fest 2025 by revealing Dying Light: The Beast will launch on August 22, 2025, for PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Techland describes Dying Light: The Beast as a "fusion of open-world exploration and survival horror action." Set in the treacherous Castor Woods region, survival demands mastering every available weapon and skill.

"You play as Kyle Crane," Techland explains. "After years of captivity under the Baron's torturous experiments, you break free. Now part-zombie, you battle to restrain your feral instincts while pursuing vengeance against your tormentor."

This standalone chapter in Techland's apocalyptic saga is available for pre-order, with early buyers receiving the Hero of Harran bundle. This includes coveted gear like the Ultimate Survivor Outfit, Harran Combat Knife, and Follower Crossbow.
