After nearly three decades since its theatrical debut, Paul W.S. Anderson's cult classic, *Event Horizon*, is set to expand its universe with a new prequel. IDW Publishing has announced *Event Horizon: Dark Descent*, a gripping five-issue comic book series that delves into the chilling events leading up to the iconic film. This series promises to unveil the harrowing fate of the original crew aboard the Event Horizon ship.

Penned by acclaimed writer Christian Ward, known for *Batman: City of Madness*, and illustrated by Tristan Jones, who brought *Aliens: Defiance* to life, *Dark Descent* is set to be a visual and narrative feast.
