Exclusive Interview with Doug Bowser: Nintendo's San Francisco Event
Nintendo has officially opened its doors to its second U.S. store in San Francisco today, May 15, located at 331 Powell Street in Union Square. This exciting new addition follows the success of the revamped Nintendo NY, which was formerly known as the Nintendo World Store before undergoing renovations and rebranding in 2016. The San Francisco store marks Nintendo's first venture on the West Coast, and it's already generating buzz among fans and gamers alike.
IGN had the opportunity to visit the San Francisco store to explore what Nintendo has in store for its customers. Additionally, we sat down with Nintendo of America president Doug Bowser to discuss the strategic timing behind opening their first West Coast location now.
