Fantastic Four Photo Sparks Thunderbolts, Avengers Fan Theories

A new image from *The Fantastic Four: First Steps* appears to depict a scene from the film’s later stages, connecting to the post-credits moment in *Thunderbolts*/New Avengers.

Shared on Instagram by Fandango, the photo shows Pedro Pascal’s Reed Richards and Joseph Quinn’s Johnny Storm in a futuristic environment — seemingly floating in zero gravity (via Cinema Blend).

Fans have noted that both characters are already wearing their Fantastic Four-branded spacesuits, outfits they only receive after their initial journey into space, where they acquire their superhuman abilities. A Fantastic Four emblem is also visible on what looks like a door or airlock in the background.

This suggests the image is from later in the film, after the Fantastic Four have become established heroes. It also seems to feature a sequence not yet shown in any released trailers.

So far, most footage released from *The Fantastic Four* has been set on Earth, focusing on the team coming to terms with Reed Richards and Sue Storm expecting a child — just as the skyscraper-sized Galactus arrives.
