First Glimpse of the Early Version of The Sinking City 2

A new teaser for The Sinking City 2 showcases core gameplay elements: intense combat, atmospheric location exploration, and gripping investigations—all integral to the game's design. While the footage is from a pre-alpha build, expect significant refinements in the final product, particularly in graphics and animations.

This survival horror sequel directly continues the story of the original. The setting: Arkham, a city ravaged by a supernatural flood, now a decaying haven for monstrous creatures.

To bolster development and engage the community, Frogwares has launched a Kickstarter campaign with a €100,000 (approximately $105,000) funding goal. These funds will support development, reward backers, and facilitate playtesting to ensure a polished final product. The game is being built on Unreal Engine 5.

The Sinking City 2 is slated for release in 2025 on current-generation consoles (Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5) and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG).
