Enter the Gungeon and Exit the Gungeon Bring Co-op and Cult of the Lamb to Android This Summer

Enter the Gungeon and Exit the Gungeon will launch on Android this summer, delivering thrilling bullet hell dungeon action. Developed by Dodge Roll and Devolver Digital, these titles include exciting new features, including a special crossover with Cult of the Lamb.

XD Network is spearheading the mobile adaptations, with guidance from Dodge Roll and Devolver Digital. XD Network previously managed the Chinese mobile versions of both games.

The bullet hell dungeon crawler Enter the Gungeon will be priced at $8.99 on mobile. Meanwhile, its arcade-style spin-off, Exit the Gungeon, will cost $4.99. This fast-paced 2D platformer was formerly exclusive to Apple Arcade.

What’s New in Enter and Exit the Gungeon for Android?

The mobile version of Enter the Gungeon introduces online co-op, a first for the series, unlike the local multiplayer available on consoles and PC.

Players can control The Lamb, the iconic character from Massive Monster’s Cult of the Lamb, equipped with new abilities and a unique weapon in the mobile edition.

When Will They Be Available?

Both Enter and Exit the Gungeon are set to release on Android on August 15, 2025. The games feature a try-before-you-buy model, allowing players to explore the first chamber for free, collect items, and retain progress upon purchasing the full versions.

Progress from PC or console versions cannot be transferred to mobile. Exclusive mobile content, such as the Cult of the Lamb crossover, is unique to this platform for now.

Both titles support controllers, with Enter the Gungeon’s precise twin-stick controls adapted for touchscreens through an optional auto-aim feature. This ambitious adaptation ensures accessibility, as the gameplay can be challenging even with a controller. Pre-register on the Google Play Store.

Exit the Gungeon, designed with mobile in mind, offers a streamlined arcade experience. Pre-registration is also available on the Google Play Store.
