Halo Infinite Launches S&D Extraction Mode with Advanced Economic System

Despite being somewhat overshadowed by other titles, Halo Infinite continues to receive content updates, keeping the game fresh and exciting for its community. The development team has recently introduced a new competitive game mode called S&D Extraction, which promises to offer players a thrilling experience with strategic depth.
S&D Extraction draws inspiration from Valve's Counter-Strike but adds unique twists to the formula. This mode pits two teams of four players against each other: one team takes on the role of attackers, tasked with planting a device on a designated point, while the other team defends. After each round, the teams switch roles, ensuring a balanced gameplay experience. Victory is achieved by winning six rounds, making every round crucial.
A key feature of S&D Extraction is its extensive economic system, which allows players to purchase equipment at the start of each round using in-game currency earned through objectives. The prices of equipment fluctuate based on the performance of the players, adding a layer of strategy to the game. All gear disappears at the end of each round, encouraging players to adapt their strategies continuously.
The cost of items in S&D Extraction is determined by their effectiveness and potential power within a round. Players can expect to find cheaper items available in the early rounds, with prices increasing as the match progresses. Towards the end of the game, players might encounter even more expensive gear if they've been saving their earnings wisely. Additionally, players have the option to pay for respawn after being eliminated, adding another strategic element to the gameplay.
S&D Extraction is set to launch for Halo Infinite in 2025, promising a dynamic and engaging competitive experience for fans of the franchise. This new mode is poised to reinvigorate the game and attract both new and returning players to the iconic Halo universe.
