Hollow Knight Silksong creators troll the community with a “delicious teaser”

Hollow Knight Silksong's release remains elusive, much to the amusement (and frustration) of fans. The developers, Team Cherry, seem to enjoy playing with expectations. After missing the 2024 release window, a recent cryptic image – a single cake – sent the fanbase into a frenzy, sparking speculation of an Alternate Reality Game (ARG).

However, Team Cherry quickly dispelled these theories, clarifying that the cake image was simply a playful tease, not a complex ARG.

Despite the official explanation, some fans remain unconvinced, clinging to the belief that a full game reveal is imminent, possibly in April. Until then, the release date for Hollow Knight Silksong remains shrouded in mystery.
