"Infinity Nikki Delays Version 1.6 Amid Fan Outcry"

Following weeks of anticipation and player inquiries, the development team behind Infinity Nikki has finally addressed the concerns surrounding the rocky rollout of Version 1.5. Acknowledging the community's feedback, the team admitted that the update wasn't as polished as it should have been. As a result, the release of Version 1.6 has been postponed.

When Will Version 1.6 Release?

Originally scheduled for June 4th, Version 1.6 has been rescheduled for June 12th. In the meantime, the ongoing Bubble Season will continue, extending events such as Chase the Bubbles, Rainbow Album, and Where Are the Gifties? until the update rolls out. Additionally, stores like Pear-Pal Selected/Store: Clothing, Heartfelt Gifts, and the Shake Up Bubble Jar! top-up event will remain accessible until June 12th. Weekly tasks, including Starlit Pursuit, have also been moved to coincide with the new release date.

The developers issued an apology and explained that they are addressing performance issues across multiple platforms, including PS. They assured players that storylines like Threads of Reunion have not been abandoned but are simply delayed.

Beyond the Version 1.6 Delay

Players have recently reported numerous bugs, quest malfunctions, and co-op issues within the game. To mitigate these concerns, the developers are offering compensation in the form of 120 Diamonds and 1 Crystal per day from June 5th to June 12th. However, players must log in daily to claim these rewards.

Many gamers view this gesture as an attempt to boost engagement metrics following the missteps of Version 1.5. The timing of the apology also raised eyebrows when promotional banners for new outfits began appearing shortly afterward.
