InZOI will feature ghosts, an afterlife, and a karma system

InZOI's Game Director, Hyungjun "KJoon" Kim, has revealed intriguing details about the game's paranormal elements. Players will gain limited control over ghosts, a mechanic interwoven with a karma system that tracks character actions and shapes their lives, even beyond death.

Good deeds ensure a peaceful afterlife, while negative actions may condemn characters to an afterlife as restless spirits. These ghosts must then atone for their past by accumulating missing karma points to finally move on.

While ghost control will be a later addition, the early access version will already feature ghosts. Kim stressed InZOI's focus on realistic gameplay, ensuring paranormal elements remain supplementary. However, he hinted at the potential for future additions of other unexplained phenomena.
