KEMCO Launches Metro Quester: A New Mobile Dungeon RPG
Metro Quester – Hack & Slash is now available for Android users, offering a unique take on the classic dungeon-crawling RPG genre. Unlike typical KEMCO titles, this game dives into the gritty, old-school essence of turn-based JRPGs, focusing on intense dungeon exploration.
Seek the Truth of a Lost World
In Metro Quester – Hack & Slash, you step into the shoes of a scavenger, navigating through underground ruins to gather resources before your weekly food quota of 100 runs out within seven in-game days. Your adventures take you to areas like Otemachi and Ginza, where you'll face monsters and search for leftovers. Survival is key, as you can only level up back at a camp if you've managed to gather enough supplies.
The game features 24 characters, each belonging to one of eight distinct classes. Customization is at the heart of the gameplay, with your combo skills, weapons, and strategies all tailored to your preferences. Each action in combat consumes action points, with a cap of five points per turn and a single use per ability, making strategic planning essential.
As you explore, the dungeon in Metro Quester – Hack & Slash unfolds dynamically. You might unearth food, stumble upon monster nests, find keys to unlock new areas, or discover a campground to establish a new base.
Metro Quester – Hack & Slash Is Now Out on Android
Visually, Metro Quester – Hack & Slash embraces a minimalist aesthetic, with a bleak and colorless environment that starkly contrasts with your team's vibrant appearance. You can get a closer look at the game's style and gameplay in the official trailer below.
For those who enjoy challenging replays, the game offers a NEW GAME+ mode, enhancing the experience after completing the main content.
Metro Quester – Hack & Slash is available on the Google Play Store for $14.99. Note that it does not support game controllers and is only available in English and Japanese. Dive into this thrilling dungeon-crawling adventure today!
