by Eleanor Mar 06,2025

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II's post-launch support continues with a massive upcoming patch. While the sequel launched in a significantly improved state compared to its predecessor, Warhorse Studios is tackling numerous technical issues.

In a recent interview with Tech4gamers, global PR manager Tobias Stolz-Zwilling revealed the upcoming patch addresses over 1,000 bugs, a testament to the five months of development invested.

"This patch has been in development for over five months and includes well over a thousand fixes."

The community eagerly anticipates whether this extensive patch will include additions beyond bug fixes, such as new gameplay features or quality-of-life improvements. The lengthy development time fuels speculation of substantial enhancements, though details remain under wraps until the official patch notes are released.

Furthermore, Warhorse Studios has confirmed the imminent arrival of official mod support within the next two weeks. However, initial mod capabilities will be limited; creating custom quests, for example, won't be immediately possible. The studio plans to expand modding tools in future updates. A specific release date for the patch remains unannounced.
