LEGO Revives Simpsons Collab, Unveils Krusty Burger Set

Get ready, LEGO and Simpsons fans! LEGO has just unveiled the much-anticipated Krusty Burger set, bringing back the beloved Simpsons theme in a minifigure-scale model packed with nostalgic Easter eggs and references from the show's classic era. Priced at $209.99, this set is aimed at the 18+ demographic and will be available for general purchase starting June 4. This marks the first Simpsons-themed LEGO set since 2018, following the release of the Homer Simpson and Krusty the Clown Brickheadz. Before that, LEGO offered fans the iconic Simpsons House in 2014 and the Kwik-E-Mart in 2015, both of which are now retired. The announcement of the Krusty Burger set breathes new life into what many thought was a dormant LEGO franchise.

The Krusty Burger set comprises 1,635 pieces and stands at 9 inches tall, stretching 9.5 inches wide and 7.5 inches deep. Its exterior design is reminiscent of McDonald's, complete with a drive-thru menu and window. The set's innovative hinge mechanism allows it to open up, revealing intricately detailed interiors including a kitchen, a bathroom, and a dining area. Additionally, the set includes two standalone buildable elements: the iconic Krusty Burger sign mounted on a tall pole and Homer's Krusty-fied car from the Season Six episode "Homie the Clown."

Included with the set are seven minifigures: Homer Simpson, Bart Simpson, Lisa Simpson, Farmer Krusty the Clown, Sideshow Bob, the Squeaky Voiced Teen, and Officer Lou. LEGO Insiders who purchase the Krusty Burger set between June 1 and June 7 from either the online or physical LEGO Store will receive an exclusive gift with purchase: a 123-piece set of The Simpsons Living Room, available while supplies last.
