Lords of the Fallen Sequel Arrives 2026

CI Games has revealed what fans can anticipate for Lords of the Fallen 2 at Gamescom's Opening Night Live. The studio noted that this sequel has been fundamentally shaped by community feedback, following the original game's challenging reception at launch.

Built as a complete standalone follow-up to the 2023 release, this Unreal Engine 5 title features two parallel worlds to discover, with an expanded Umbral realm and shared campaign progression for online co-op.

"Having sold over 2 million copies and welcoming more than 5.5 million Lampbearers into Lords of the Fallen, it's evident our resurgence was driven by the community," stated CI Games CEO Marek Tyminski. "With Lords of the Fallen 2, we're pushing even further. In 2024, we proudly affirmed our deep commitment to being a player-first studio. The V2.0 update was our pledge in action: to listen, respond, and deliver. This sequel is constructed on that very same principle."
