Puella Magi Madoka Magica Magia Exedra fans rejoice—Aniplex is set to release a highly anticipated new update featuring a limited-time event quest titled Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Scene 0 Part I. This marks the beginning of a three-part arc designed to weave seamlessly into the game's overarching narrative.

For now, this standalone event offers a fresh experience with a brand-new character, innovative mechanics, and intriguing lore. It launches on May 30th, so if you haven’t completed the main quest yet, this is the perfect time to do so!

Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Scene 0 Part I: A Special Anniversary Celebration

Scene 0 celebrates the 10th anniversary of Puella Magi Madoka Magica and originates from Magia Record. The storyline follows Mabayu Aki, a middle school student from Mitakihara, who discovers herself in an extraordinary predicament—time freezes for everyone except her. This leads her into a surreal journey involving magical phenomena and encounters with familiar faces from the series.

From May 30th to June 30th, players can dive into Scene 0 and relive its events. Later, it will integrate fully into the main questline. To participate, ensure you’ve cleared the The Fourth Window Into Memory [Dessert Witch] BOSS in the main quest beforehand.

Throughout the event, collect medals to exchange for valuable rewards such as the Granting Impossible Miracles portrait and Magica Stones. The portrait will also become available in the Archive Medal Exchange post-event.

More Exciting Updates Coming Your Way

Alongside the event, the game introduces a new 5-star Kioku character, Hollow Woman Mabayu Aki, debuting in the Fate Weave on May 30th. The featured banner will run until the end of June. By performing 10 consecutive draws, you’re guaranteed to obtain at least a 4-star or higher Kioku.

Additionally, the main quest receives a significant upgrade with the introduction of Chaos mode on May 30th. This challenging mode consists solely of boss battles against witches and rumors, each accompanied by unique special missions. Access to Chaos mode requires clearing the Nightmare version of the Window Into Memory [Needle Witch] BOSS from the Oriko☆Magica questline.
