Marvel Rivals Season 1: Free Skins, New Characters, and Villainous Makeovers!

NetEase Games' Marvel Rivals kicks off Season 1: Eternal Night Falls with a surprise gift for players: free Peni Parker and Scarlet Witch skins! This season, running from January 10th to April 11th, 2025, pits the Fantastic Four against Dracula's forces in a New York City showdown.

Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman debut in the Season 1 launch, with Human Torch and The Thing joining the fray in a mid-season update. Leaks suggest Human Torch will be a Duelist and The Thing a Vanguard class character.

Players can earn free cosmetic rewards, including the Peni Parker's Blue Tarantula skin (page 3 of the battle pass) and Scarlet Witch's Emporium Matron skin (page 9). While the battle pass itself costs 990 Lattice (approximately $10), these skins are obtainable through completing quests and earning Chrono Tokens. Note that Scarlet Witch's MVP animation requires the premium battle pass. A free Thor skin is also available via the Midnight Features event.

Beyond the freebies, the in-game shop offers new villainous skins for Invisible Woman (Malice) and Mister Fantastic (The Maker). Invisible Woman's skin boasts a striking black and red design, while Mister Fantastic's sports a sleek dark gray and blue aesthetic. The abundance of new content has generated significant excitement among Marvel Rivals fans.
