Marvel Rivals Gets Suit from PlayStation's Spider-Man 2 Later This Month

Marvel Rivals welcomes an unexpected crossover: the Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel's Spider-Man 2!

PlayStation announced this exciting collaboration on X/Twitter, showcasing NetEase Games' interpretation of this iconic suit for their hero shooter. This stylish Spider-Man suit, originally designed for Insomniac Games' Marvel's Spider-Man, has appeared in all three games of the series. Its distinctive white spider symbol makes it instantly recognizable. This collaboration marks a surprising partnership between Sony and the console-exclusive superhero game.

The Advanced Suit 2.0 is a unique addition to Marvel Rivals' already impressive roster of unlockable suits. Its connection to the popular PlayStation series and the return of Yuri Lowenthal as the voice of Spider-Man adds another layer of authenticity. Lowenthal voiced Peter Parker in all three Insomniac Spider-Man games and lends his voice to the Marvel Rivals version. Players acquiring the suit on January 30th will find the experience familiar and immersive.

This addition complements the Season 1: Eternal Night Falls content, which introduced Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman as playable characters, with The Thing and Human Torch arriving shortly. Creative director Guangyun Chen has promised at least one new hero every six weeks, ensuring a steady stream of exciting updates.
