Mawile Is Making Its Debut in Pokémon Sleep’s Packed Portions Cooking Week

A fresh Pokémon is slipping into your research files, bringing a formidable bite with it. Mawile makes its grand entrance in Pokémon Sleep, accompanied by the Packed Portions Cooking Week kicking off next week.

When Mawile Arrives in Pokémon Sleep

Beginning June 9th, 2025 at 3:00 p.m., Mawile will start appearing via Pokémon Sleep research. While exploring Greengrass Isle, Taupe Hollow, or the Old Gold Power Plant, watch closely during your Slumbering-type rest sessions for this new addition.

This steel-type Pokémon features a primary skill named Hyper Cutter (also known as Ingredient Draw S). This ability allows Mawile to draw in one random ingredient type. On fortunate occasions, it can even secure more ingredients than usual.

June 9th also initiates the Packed Portions Cooking Week Part 1 event, which runs through June 16th. The focus is on helper Pokémon specializing in Ingredients across all areas, with cooking mechanics receiving a temporary boost everywhere.

During this period, cooking pots will expand by 50% daily, reaching up to 200% capacity on Sundays. Meals provide an additional 5 Energy recovery for your Pokémon. If your helpers possess Ingredient Magnet S or Ingredient Draw S skills, their effectiveness increases by a factor of 1.5.

Dish strength gains receive a default 1.5x multiplier, jumping to 3x for Extra Tasty dishes and soaring to 4.5x for those prepared on Sundays. Pokémon with the Ingredients specialty will deliver one extra ingredient during each standard collection run.

The Mini Candy Boost feature is available for a limited duration. It requires fewer Dream Shards than the standard Candy Boost, doubling the EXP gained from candies while consuming four times as many Dream Shards per candy used.

In addition to Mawile, several other Pokémon are joining your research in Pokémon Sleep. You can expect encounters with Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Gastly, Pinsir, Eevee, Dratini, Wooper, Murkrow, Aron, Heracross, Delibird, Happiny, Sprigatito, and Fuecoco.
