Metaphor: ReFantazio - Join In, When?

Metaphor: ReFantazio boasts eight playable characters, including the protagonist. This guide details when each party member joins your adventuring group, noting that some join earlier than others and may initially be non-playable. Spoiler warning: Knowing the exact join dates may reveal plot points.

Party Member Join Dates in Metaphor: ReFantazio

Each party member possesses a unique Archetype, usable by other party members once unlocked. Early party members may be initially AI-controlled.

• Storhl (Warrior): Joins on June 5th (6/5) during the Border Fort events, but his Archetype activates the following day, June 6th (6/6), in the Nord Mines. Until then, he's AI-controlled.

• Grius: Joins after the Border Fort events, becoming combat-ready on June 6th (6/6). While summonable via an Archetype after Storhl's awakening, Grius doesn't undergo a traditional Archetype awakening.

• Hulkenberg (Knight): Interacts with the party from June 10th (6/10), fully joining and awakening her Archetype during the boss fight on June 11th (6/11).

• Heismay (Thief): His awakening and party integration occur on July 4th (7/4) within Martira's main dungeon.

• Junah (Masked Dancer): Joins the party after her Archetype awakening on August 13th (8/13).

• Eupha (Summoner): Her join date is flexible. Completing the Dragon Temple Dungeon anytime between August 19th (8/19) and September 4th (9/4) during Viraga Island's free time adds her to the party for the final boss. Her Bond quest, however, begins after this period.

• Basilio (Berserker): Awakens and joins on September 11th (9/11) during Saint's Day events, becoming fully playable the following day.
