Microsoft to Add New Games to Xbox Game Pass in July

Microsoft has revealed the first wave of the Xbox Game Pass lineup for July 2025, featuring the arrival of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, the comeback of High On Life, and several other additions.

According to an announcement on Xbox Wire, Little Nightmares 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC) arrives today, July 1, and is available across Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard. Also returning today is Rise of the Tomb Raider (Cloud, Console, and PC), accessible through the same plans.

On July 2, Legend of Mana (Console) and Trials of Mana (Console) join Game Pass Standard. Ultimate Chicken Horse (Cloud, Console, and PC) arrives on July 3, available with Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard.

The cyberpunk action RPG The Ascent (Cloud, Console, and PC) makes its return on July 8 via Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard. Minami Lane (Cloud, Console, and PC) follows on July 9, launching with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

The major highlight arrives July 11: Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 (Cloud, Console, and PC) launches day one on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Subscribers can get up to three days of early access starting July 8, including the Doom Slayer and The Revenant as playable skaters via the Deluxe Edition Upgrade.

On July 15, High On Life (Cloud, Console, and PC) returns to Game Pass through Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard. The comedic first-person shooter was a huge success on Game Pass in 2022, and a sequel is currently in development.

Additionally, the Retro Classics collection is receiving a new set of games for subscribers. This initiative is part of Microsoft’s collaboration with Antstream Arcade to bring Activision titles from the 80s and 90s to Game Pass members.
