HoYoVerse's parent company, MiHoYo, is making waves with its upcoming game, formerly known as Astaweave Haven. This title, even before its official unveiling, is undergoing significant changes, hinting at a potential shift in direction for the developer.

For those unfamiliar, Astaweave Haven was rumored to be a departure from HoYoVerse's typical open-world gacha RPGs. While official details remain scarce, leaks suggest a life-simulation or management game, similar in style to Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley.

The big news? Astaweave Haven has been rebranded as Petit Planet. This new name is arguably more fitting, suggesting a gentler, management-focused gameplay experience rather than a gacha RPG.

Release Date Uncertainties

Currently, Petit Planet is under development, with no concrete launch date. While the game received approval in China for PC and mobile in July, the name change – registered by HoYoVerse on October 31st – is now awaiting US and UK approval.
