Monster Hunter Wilds Beta Unveils Exciting New Features
Monster Hunter Wilds is offering a second Open Beta, giving players another chance to experience the thrill of the hunt! This extended beta includes exciting new features and content, perfect for both returning and first-time hunters.
A New Monster Enters the Fray
Missed the first Open Beta? Fear not! The second Open Beta Test runs in two sessions: February 6th-9th and February 13th-16th, available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
This time around, hunters will face the Gypceros, a familiar foe from the Monster Hunter series. Character data from the previous beta is transferable to the full game (launching February 28th, 2025), though progress will not carry over. Participants receive in-game rewards: a Stuffed Felyne Teddy weapon charm and a helpful bonus item pack.
Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto explained the decision for a second beta, stating the team heard player requests for another opportunity to participate. While recent development updates and improvements are still being implemented, they won't be included in this beta test.
Get ready for the ultimate hunting experience! Monster Hunter Wilds launches February 28th, 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Happy hunting!
