Myst-Like Lovecraftian Point-And-Click Puzzle My Father Lied Is Coming to Android This Year

In a world brimming with video games, finding a truly unique title can be a challenge. My Father Lied, however, stands out with its captivating narrative and intriguing blend of mystery and Lovecraftian elements. This puzzle adventure game boasts a compelling story, making it a standout in the genre.

My Father Lied: An Indie Developer's Journey

The game's creation story is as fascinating as the game itself. Ahmed Alameen, the developer, initially pursued a career in writing and filmmaking. A collaborative game project with a college friend fell through, but the core narrative remained. Driven by his vision, Alameen independently mastered 3D modeling and Unreal Engine, bringing his concept to life. Even the game's title was a collaborative effort with his wife.

Unraveling the Mystery

My Father Lied plunges players into a captivating mystery steeped in ancient Mesopotamian myths. Players step into the shoes of Huda, a young woman grappling with a twenty-year-old question: What happened to her father? The answer, as the story unfolds, proves far from straightforward.

The game masterfully blends ancient Mesopotamian culture with modern storytelling. The intuitive point-and-click gameplay, coupled with stunning 2D visuals and immersive 360-degree images, enhances the experience.
