Netflix Announces The Electric State Puzzle Game Spin-Off

Netflix is launching a companion game for its upcoming sci-fi film The Electric State - a retro-futuristic puzzle adventure titled The Electric State: Kid Cosmo. The game arrives March 18th, just four days after the movie's March 14th premiere.

A Star-Studded Sci-Fi Adventure

The Russo brothers direct this cinematic adaptation starring Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt. Set in an alternate 1990s post-apocalyptic America, the film follows a road trip adventure featuring massive robotic companions.

More Than Just A Movie Tie-In

The Electric State: Kid Cosmo serves as a narrative prequel rather than direct adaptation. Developed by BUCK Games (creators of Let's! Revolution!) and AGBO, the game explores protagonists Chris and Michelle's childhood through meta-gameplay.

Players will experience WarioWare-style puzzle challenges infused with an '80s aesthetic. Set in 1985 Wichita, Kansas, the five-year-spanning story reveals backstory details through ship repairs, module collection, and environmental puzzles.

Netflix Expands Gaming Universe

This release continues Netflix's strategy of developing interactive media spin-offs. Their gaming catalog includes Stranger Things: Puzzle Tales, Too Hot to Handle Series, Money Heist: Ultimate Choice, and Squid Game: Unleashed.
