Nexon Terminates 'Dynasty Warriors M' One Year After Debut

Nexon announces the end of service (EOS) for Dynasty Warriors: Unleashed, the mobile adaptation of the popular Dynasty Warriors franchise. If you've been commanding your army of legendary officers and engaging in thrilling battles, now's the time to savor the remaining moments.

In-app purchases were halted on December 19th, 2024. While Nexon expressed gratitude to the player base, the official announcement didn't detail the reasons behind the game's closure.

The shutdown wasn't entirely unexpected, given the game's underperformance. Launched in November 2023 by Nexon and Koei Tecmo Games, its lifespan was relatively short.

The final battle will conclude on February 20th, 2025. The game's final update will be released this month.

Dynasty Warriors: Unleashed offered a unique twist on the classic hack-and-slash gameplay, blending Musou action with strategic elements. Players could collect and train 50 officers from five factions, conquering castles across a vast map featuring 13 regions and 500 stages.
