Phasmophobia Weekly Challenge: Mastering the Primitive Challenge
Embarking on the Primitive weekly challenge in *Phasmophobia* might feel like a trip back to the Stone Age, but unlike our cave-dwelling ancestors, we've got ghosts to contend with. This challenge requires us to navigate and complete investigations without the aid of electronics, pushing us to rely on our wits and understanding of ghostly behaviors. Let's dive into how we can successfully tackle this daunting task.
How To Complete The Primitive Challenge in Phasmophobia
The Primitive Challenge stands out as one of the toughest weekly challenges in *Phasmophobia*. You're tasked with identifying the ghost and completing your investigations at 10 Ridgeview Court, a house-style map known for its navigable layout. To fully conquer this challenge, you must successfully complete three investigations.
Tips & Tricks To Complete Primitive Challenge in Phasmophobia
The Primitive Challenge strips you of most electronic equipment, leaving you to work with a minimal loadout. You won't have access to Flashlights, DOTs Projectors, Video Cameras, or Sanity Medication. However, you start with a full Sanity meter, which is a small mercy. Your provided equipment includes two Tier 1 Crucifixes to ward off ghost hunts, Tier 2 Firelights, and a full set of Tier 1 Incense for additional protection.
For evidence gathering, you're equipped with two Tier 3 Ghost Writing books and two Tier 1 UV lights, which double as your light source. Additionally, you have two Tier 1 thermometers to check for freezing temperatures. Identifying the ghost will require keen observation of its unique behaviors, which you can learn more about in our no-evidence cheat sheet.
To locate the ghost quickly, take advantage of its increased activity during this challenge. Alternatively, you can use the Ouija Board found in the laundry room on the first floor. Ask the ghost its "favorite room" to pinpoint its location, but be prepared to lose 50% of your sanity. Always remember to say "Goodbye" to the board to avoid triggering a Cursed Hunt.
How To Access Challenge Mode in Phasmophobia
To dive into the Primitive Challenge, select either Singleplayer or Multiplayer mode. Navigate to your Difficulty Settings, find the 'Challenge Mode' option, and apply it. Head back to the main menu, select 10 Ridgeview Court on the map board, and start the challenge with the pre-selected loadout.
