Plunderstorm Returns to World of Warcraft with a New Twist!

Last year's well-received Plunderstorm event is back in World of Warcraft, but with a significant change. While some downtime preceded Season 2's launch, Blizzard has reintroduced Plunderstorm with updated rewards and a streamlined acquisition system. Instead of the Renown grind, players now earn Plunder during matches, which can then be spent on a variety of rewards in the Plunderstore.

All rewards from the previous year are available for purchase. Players who have already acquired everything, or simply prefer other options, can exchange their Plunder for Trader's Tender, usable at the Trading Post.

The Plunderstore features 13 categories, neatly organizing all event rewards for easy browsing and purchase. Note that, excluding the Polly Roger mount, all Plunderstorm rewards are exclusive to Retail World of Warcraft. The Plunderstore is accessible both within the Plunderstorm event and directly in the Retail World of Warcraft game.
