Honoring the Pokémon TCG and Its Community

Pokémon fans, prepare for an adventure! The Pokémon Company International is debuting a new reality show, 'Pokémon: Trainer Tour', which premieres globally on Prime Video and Roku Channel starting July 31st.

Hosted by Meghan Camarena (Strawburry17) and Andrew Mahone (Tricky Gym), the show documents their cross-country journey to meet and coach aspiring Pokémon Trading Card Game trainers. Traveling in a Pikachu-themed bus, they'll connect with Pokémon lovers from diverse backgrounds, highlighting their unique stories and shared passion for the Pokémon brand and TCG.

Andy Gose, Senior Director of Media Production at The Pokémon Company International, called the series "a groundbreaking entertainment project for the company, focusing on individuals from Pokémon's wonderfully diverse fan community." He added, "We are thrilled to have had the chance to illustrate how the Pokémon TCG builds meaningful connections."

Since its launch in 1996, the Pokémon Trading Card Game has won the affection of millions of Trainers around the world. Nearly thirty years later, it has grown into a worldwide sensation with a passionate community and a vibrant competitive landscape.

Pokémon: Trainer Tour pays tribute to the game and its players by "giving fans an exclusive glimpse into the diverse experiences and personal stories of the Trainers who represent the wide spectrum of Pokémon fandom."

All eight episodes of Pokémon: Trainer Tour arrive on Prime Video and Roku Channel on July 31st. The premiere episode is also available to stream on the official Pokémon YouTube channel.
